On this day in 1975, the anti-independence and Pakistani brokers brutally killed the great architect of independence Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest Bengali father of the nation, in his own family. Daffodil International College pays tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the martyrs of his family on this day.

Principal of Daffodil International College Lt. Col. Md. Zahirul Islam (Retd) received “Bijoy Dibosh Sommanona-2018” on 14th December’ 18 for his special contribution to the education sector of Bangladesh. The program was organized by Sher-e-Bangla Research council and 71 Media Vision. The program was chaired by Syed Magrub Murshed where justice Md. Shamsul Huda remained present as the special guest. It is to be mentioned here that in the previous years he also received several awards for his contribution to the education sector.
